At this year’s PRSA Volunteer Chapter V Awards, our CEO Kelly Fletcher was presented with the  Gary McCormick Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the Volunteer Chapter and the public relations profession over the last 20 years. Kelly embodies all that is a lifetime of achievement as an inspiring entrepreneur and leader.

Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations and a second bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Meredith College in North Carolina. Post-graduation she pursued her dreams in the Big Apple where she performed Off Broadway in a variety of roles including with The National Opera Company.

After a few years, Kelly pursued a different path in Atlanta as an account executive for Bernard Hodes and their Interactive Group, where she landed the firm multiple national-level clients such as Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse, Bank of America, and Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). In 2005, Kelly decided to join the corporate world with Jewelry Television as their first Director of Communications. During her time at JTV, she built the communication department and served as national spokesperson for the channel.

With her passion for the profession, Kelly started her own firm in 2008. Fletcher Marketing PR has served a host of national-level clients across the country, and we are proud to be celebrating our 10th year in business. She is creativity embodied and is always looking for new ways to make a difference for our clients.

Kelly is truly a generous individual. She is genuine and always focused on taking care of our team, our clients and our community. She has been on numerous boards and supported a myriad of non-profit organizations, and she encourages her staff to do the same. Kelly is an inspiring leader, and it was my honor to present her with this well-deserved award.

Congratulations Kelly!
