I’m really excited to announce that fellow Happy Appy (Appalachian State grad) Cheryl Ball has joined FletcherPR as director of marketing communications.

Cheryl will be right in the middle of creating and executing fully integrated marketing communications campaigns that resonate with women and produce amazing results.

FletcherPR Hires Director of Marketing Communications
Cheryl Ball, APR joins growing Knoxville-based PR and marketing agencyFletcherPR, a national communications agency specializing in marketing to women, announced that Cheryl Ball, APR has been appointed director of marketing communications. Ball will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns for the agency’s roster of national, regional, and local clients.

Prior to working with FletcherPR, Ball owned and operated Curved Edge Consulting, a marketing communications firm based in Knoxville, Tenn. Ball’s numerous award-winning campaigns have been recognized by the American Advertising Federation and the Volunteer Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). In 2009, Ball received the Harvey I. Cobert Award for outstanding professional achievement and contributions to the Volunteer Chapter of PRSA. Ball was also selected as one of Knoxville’s 40 Under 40 Business and Community Leaders by The Knoxville Business Journal in 2009.
Earlier in her career, Cheryl held communications positions with Le Blanc Financial Group, Girl Scouts Council of the Southern Appalachians, the National Association Medical Staff Services and Rhône-Poulenc Agriculture. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communications-public relations from Appalachian State University with a minor in marketing. She earned the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) designation in 1998. Cheryl serves on the board of directors for the Historic Mabry Hazen House and the North Knoxville Business & Professional Association. She is actively involved with the Fourth & Gill and Old North Knoxville neighborhoods.
