According to Rothstein Kass, there have been a number of studies that show women investors to be more risk averse. For example, in Q3 of 2012, women brought in an 8.95% ROI over the average 2.69%. So companies that are led by women hedge fund managers brought in more money after taxes, resulting in a larger profit for their company.
But wait – women still make up less than 20% of hedge fund CEOs. We need people to wake up and realize that by putting women in senior level positions, your business can be more profitable. We’ve known this for ages, but hey, it is time for everyone to get aboard this train. It might be a slow transition for the traditional male party but the numbers prove it.
